Hurricane Boris Forms in Pacific, Headed West

The first hurricane of the season has formed in the Pacific Ocean. Hurricane Boris formed as a tropical storm over the weekend near Baja, California.

Boris gained strength as it traveled west towards Hawaii. The category 1 twister sustained winds near 75 mph and is not expected to be a damaging storm.
