Tropical Storm Dolly Forms in Caribbean, Warning Issued for Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula

Tropical Storm Dolly has formed in the western Caribbean leading the National Hurricane Center to issue a tropical storm warning for Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula.

According to the NHC the storm was about 230 miles southeast of Cozumel at noon on Sunday and was moving at 17 mph with winds topping 45 mph.

The warning was issued for the Mexican peninsula from Campeche to the border of Belize.
