5.8 Earthquake Rattles Los Angeles, No Damages Reported

The U.S. Geological Survey says a 5.8 magnitude earthquake hit Los Angeles Tuesday. The epicenter of the quake was located 2 miles from Chino Hills and Diamond Bar.

The quake is considered “moderate” and no damages or injures have been reported. “It’s too early to tell if there’s any major damage but all units are checking overpasses, bridges and tall buildings,” said Anaheim police Srgt. Ken Seymour.

Witnesses said buildings were swaying back and forth and definite shaking was felt.
