Austerity Doesn’t Bode Too Well with Greece

The government of Greece is in a lurch. They managed to ward off defaulting on their debts and losing face internationally due to some rescue loans by the International Monetary Fund. In order to pull them out of this great debt crisis, wherein nothing seems to be working in the positive direction for the country and the fear is that the financial system of the country itself might collapse, the government has decided on the policy of extreme austerity.

Oblivious to Sacrifices

This policy though doesn’t seem to be going down too well with the Greek citizens of the country. Recent news indicates that when the austerity margins cut into what is considered bare essentials and important by the citizens, they have staged a walk out strike in protest. The increased austerity in times of such need makes it difficult to prioritize what to spend money on and what to forego.

Higher Rankings

The internet is swarming with websites offering people solutions, marching off on tangents, and some even just created to spam and harass the user’s computer. When financial resources are lacking, legitimate companies choose the path of austerity, similar to the Greek government. SEO or Search Engine Optimization is the process by which the rankings of a web site can be increased in search engine searches by reorganizing the said web site. SEO ensures that only the most relevant web sites reach the user, while legitimate web sites get a lot of user traffic channeled to them. This works out great for both sides.

Satisfying Both Ends

Unfortunately, austerity and money crisis also need to be taken into the picture as SEO services might be expensive. SEO services are provided by SEO professionals who dedicate time and energy to make your website SEO efficient. The question is whether you want to spend that kind of money on SEO while you are gearing at austerity? It will be a good idea in the long run as SEO visibility will mean more money coming in to your company. Just like the Greeks can’t afford to upset their citizens, a company has to keep its customers happy – SEO does this for you.
