GNOC Boosts Russian Telecom Service

For the first time Russia is outsourcing its telecom services.  Global Network Operations Center will Team up with Nokia Siemens to boost mobile and broadband service in Russia. The GNOC will invest five years in the Russian Federation to improve efficiency and service in an effort to better connect Russian citizens. After success in India and Portugal, the GNOC will aid Russian telecom workers in developing competence for dealing with the complexities which arise as mobile and broadband service in the country increases.

The GNOC will invest in Russia in the last quarter of 2010 and be functioning in the last quarter of 2011. There are no reports on the actual fiscal investment of the outsourcing deal.  Such an undertaking will require a substantial investment leading to big profits as Russia catches up with the US and other technologically savvy western nations in telecom sector. Russia like The United States allows investors to apply for investment visa to operate a business in the country.
