Announced yesterday that the Company has adopted a strategy of pursuing air time and space on print and media outlets to increase awareness of its patented products and technologies for maximizing crude oil recovery. Sepracor (Nasdaq: SEPR) Announced yesterday its consolidated financial results for the fourth quarter and full-year ended December 31, 2008.
For the three months ended December 31, 2008, total revenues increased 8.7% to $369.7 million compared to revenues of $340.0 million during the same quarter in 2007. GAAP net income for the three months ended December 31, 2008 was $88.4 million, or $0.77 per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $5.0 million, or $(0.05) per diluted share, for the same quarter in 2007. Excluding an income tax benefit as a result of the release of a valuation allowance on our deferred tax assets, and certain other items detailed in the attached reconciliation of GAAP to non-GAAP measures, non-GAAP net income for the fourth quarter of 2008 was $105.2 million, or $0.92 per diluted share. These results compare with non-GAAP net income of $76.9 million, or $0.72 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 2007.

With over 905,000 acres to choose from, and after due diligence, we have found an area that has yielded oil and gas production from relatively shallow depths. The initial project (Phase I) is scheduled to be started by late spring or early summer with the drilling of ten (10) possibly high potential exploratory wells consisting of 1600 acres.

What They Do: NeuroMetrix is a science-based medical device company advancing patient care through the development and commercialization of innovative products that aid physicians in the assessment, treatment, and repair of peripheral nerve and spinal cord injuries and disorders, and that provide regional anesthesia and pain control.
