Technical Trade Alerts on Industrial Metals & Minerals Stocks: TMBXF, CCJ, CNX, BTU, BHP, MEE

Beacon Equity Research announces the release of Trade Alerts covering Industrial Metals & Minerals Stocks:  Tombstone Exploration Corp. (OTCBB: TMBXF), Cameco Corp. (NYSE: CCJ), CONSOL Energy Inc. (NYSE: CNX), Peabody Energy Corp. (NYSE: BTU), BHP Billiton Ltd. (NYSE: BHP) and Massey Energy Co. (NYSE: MEE).

 

In the Trade Alert, the author highlights Tombstone Exploration’s sending additional samples to Copper State Analytical for assay:

 

“Tombstone Exploration Corp. (TMBXF) shares soared 29.95% to 25 cents Tuesday. Tombstone engages in the exploration, development and production of mineral resources in the United States. … The company recently sent six additional samples collected to Copper State Analytical for assay for gold, silver, manganese, copper, lead and zinc.  Three of the samples were taken from the State of Maine Mine and three from Randolph Mine, both located on Tombstone's Arizona wholly owned mineral acreage. … Tombstone announced its intentions to begin phase 2 drilling on its 100% owned Tombstone mining acreage in Tombstone, Arizona, in the spring of 2009.  It said this will be the third year of drilling on the property which will continue to expand and define the resource.  Earlier drilling has identified several key zones that include predominantly silver, gold, manganese, copper, lead and zinc.”

 

The Trade Alert author also featured Cameco’s reporting fourth-quarter earnings sliding by nearly half:

“Cameco Corp. (CCJ) shares fell 6.97% to $14.62 Tuesday morning. Cameco engages in the development and production of uranium worldwide.  As the company recently recorded unrealized losses on financial instruments, it said its fourth-quarter earnings fell by nearly half.  Cameco said it earned C$31 million dollars ($25.4 million), or C8 cents per share (6.5 cents), compared with C$61 million dollars, or C17 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter.  It said its revenue increased 86% to C$918 million dollars ($751 million) from C$494 million dollars the previous year. … Cameco said earnings before taxes in its uranium business nearly tripled to C$168 million dollars ($137 million) from C$63 million dollars in the year-ago period.  As sales volume nearly doubled, its revenue for the segment more than doubled to C$450 million dollars ($368 million) from C$219 million dollars.”
