Cytokinetics, Incorporated (NasdaqGM: CYTK)

Cytokinetics Inc. will get $50 million from Amgen Inc., which exercised a license option for a heart failure treatment.

South San Francisco’s Cytokinetics (NASDAQ: CYTK) is developing CK-1827452 as a heart failure drug. Its option deal with Thousand Oaks giant Amgen (NASDAQ: AMGN) dates to 2006.

In this deal, Amgen pays $50 million, which is not refundable, and takes over development of the drug and related research.

MCRAE INDS CL B (MRI-B)

McRae Industries, Inc. reported consolidated net revenues for the second quarter of fiscal 2009 of $16,591,000 as compared to $20,773,000 for the second quarter of fiscal 2008. Net earnings for the second quarter of fiscal 2009 amounted to $455,000, or $.26 per diluted Class A common share as compared to net earnings of $1,442,000, or $.64 per diluted Class A common share, for the second quarter of fiscal 2008.

ZALDIVA INC (OTC BB: ZLDV.OB)
