At the request of Market Surveillance on behalf of the Toronto Stock Exchange, Banro Corporation is providing an update to investors on the recent trading activity in the Company's shares. There have been no material changes to report to explain the recent volatility in the Company's share price.
The Company is currently optimizing the results of its Feasibility Study of its wholly-owned Twangiza gold project using the results of further metallurgical testwork and updating materials and energy costs and other input parameters pertinent to the Feasibility Study. The Company is reviewing options for the financing of the development of the Twangiza project.
Banro is a Canadian-based gold exploration company focused on the development of four major, wholly-owned gold projects, each with mining licenses, along the 210 kilometre-long Twangiza-Namoya gold belt in the South Kivu and Maniema provinces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Endeavour Silver Corp. announced that it has acquired an option to purchase the El Porvenir Cuatro properties, located approximately 2.5 kilometers (km) northwest of the operating Porvenir silver mine, part of Endeavour's Guanacevi Mines project in Durango, Mexico.
The El Porvenir Cuatro and La Brisa properties (55.5 hectares) adjoin Endeavour's El Porvenir Dos property and cover an additional 670 meters (m) of strike length along the Santa Cruz vein system to the northwest, thus extending Endeavour's land position along this prolific mineralized structure to 4.5 km. The properties are road accessible, and are located only 4.5 km west of the town of Guanacevi. The Santa Cruz vein occupies a normal fault defining the western edge of a large horst block that forms the core of the Guanacevi district and the San Pedro sub-district to the north
