Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO) announced yesterday 10/4/11, that they are preparing to send financial information to potential buyers in the coming days, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter said. Long-time Yahoo banker Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Allen & Co., which is assisting Yahoo's board in a strategic review, are expected to send out some financial highlights to private-equity firms, other potential bidders and potential partners, the Journal quoted the people as saying. The information package will stop short of a traditional "book" but will contain select public and non-public data on Yahoo's growth and revenue projections, the people said, according to the Journal. Yahoo last month fired its chief executive officer Carol Bartz, and is conducting a strategic review to position the company for future growth.

Bluefly (NASDAQ: BFLY) announced today 10/5/11, that they have cast Susie Lau—better known as “Susie Bubble”—as the newest Closet Confessions star. For the 15th episode of the viral video series, Bluefly catches the international fashion blogger at the start of the month long fashion odyssey that begins with New York Fashion Week. Taking the cameras past her closet to her suitcase, Susie presents the designer collectibles she has amassed from trips around the world—even as she shares her practical packing secrets: clothes that don’t wrinkle, bags that expand, and cardigans that can double as skirts! Since its launch in April 2010, Bluefly’s Closet Confessions has given viewers unprecedented access to fashion luminaries’ closets including Nicky Hilton, Kimora Lee Simmons, Kelly Osbourne, Bethenny Frankel, Johnny Weir, and Joan Rivers. Viewer response was so impressive—more than 3,000,000 views of the videos to date—Bluefly extended the spots to television, airing infectious 45 second clips of select Confessions on Bravo. In February 2011, Closet Confessions was honored with a Fashion 2.0 award for Best Online Video.

ECOtality, Inc. (NASDAQ: ECTY), a leader in clean electric transportation and storage technologies, announced yesterday 10/4/11, that its Blink® Direct Current (DC) Fast Charge system has received Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certification as Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment (EVCE) for public and commercial use. Working with manufacturing partner Carlton Bates, a leader in the industrial distribution market, ECOtality initiated production of the Blink DC Fast Charge system at Carlton Bates’ Austin, Texas facility. “As safety is a core value of ECOtality, the extensive testing required to achieve UL listing ensures that the Blink DC Fast Charge system meets the highest possible safety standards for public usage,” stated Jonathan Read, CEO of ECOtality, Inc. “This milestone is a testament to the efforts of our engineering team and our partners, as we are one of the first to receive UL certification for our DC fast charge system.” FONAR Corporation (NASDAQ: FONR) medical researchers report today 10/5/11, a diagnostic breakthrough in multiple sclerosis (MS), based on observations made possible by the company's unique FONAR UPRIGHT® Multi-Position™ MRI. The findings reveal that the cause of multiple sclerosis may be biomechanical and related to earlier trauma to the neck, which can result in obstruction of the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), which is produced and stored in the central anatomic structures of the brain known as the ventricles. Since the ventricles produce a large volume of CSF each day (500 cc), the obstruction can result in a build up of pressure within the ventricles, resulting in leakage of the CSF into the surrounding brain tissue. This leakage could be responsible for generating the brain lesions of multiple sclerosis.
