Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is expected to hire about 200 people for a new location expected to open this fall at 800 E. Southern Ave. in Tempe. The Bentonville, Ark.-based company has set up a temporary hiring center for the new store at the Maricopa Work Center, 735 N. Gilbert Road, Suite 134, Gilbert. Associates and supervisors are needed for all areas of the store. Positions include both part-time and full-time slots, with work expected to start in August in preparation for the store’s opening.
