Shares of China New Borun Corp. (NYSE: BORN) surged
in trading on Wednesday after the China-based company announced that it signed
pre-sales contracts worth approximately 90% of 2012 total production capacity.
China New Borun shares rose to an intra-day high of
$4.46 on Wednesday. The stock ended the day 28.96% higher on above average
volume. The rally pushed China New Borun shares above their 50-day moving
average.
